Our Sgaw Karen translator came to Canada from a Thai refugee camp while a high school student. Her parents were Sgaw Karen refugees from the ongoing civil war in Myanmar. She is studying Child Development Practitioner at Fanshawe College in London, Canada.
Siobhan He
Our illustrator was born in Canada. She studied visual art at Fanshawe College in London, Canada. She later became a website designer and ESL (English as a Second Language) tutor.
Ehlu Pa
Our book designer came to Canada from a Thai refugee camp while a high school student. His parents were refugees from the ongoing civil war in Myanmar. He studied digital design at Fanshawe College in London, Canada. He found work in his field in Vancouver, Canada.
Susan Bonk Plumridge
Our author was born in Canada. She studied to be a pastor at Heritage Seminary in Cambridge, Canada. She is interested in sharing stories from the Bible that illustrate the abundant life of freedom that is found in Jesus Christ when the Holy Spirit fills us.
